Lung Cancer Screening
ARE YOU A PATIENT AGED BETWEEN 55-74 YEARS OLD? Our area is going to be the first in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin to offer Lung Cancer Screening. Starting with a free Lung Health Check conducted by telephgone, this vital screening programme will check how well your lungs are working and detect lung conditions, including lung cancer, at an early stage when they are much more treatable. To make sure all eligible patients are invited to participate in the programme, we sent out a text message to all patients between the ages of 55-74 to ensure their smoking status is up to date and recorded on their patient record. If you have not yet replied, please do so or contact the practice to update us.
